Memphis Rox offers no-cost after school programming for youth ages 12 to 17. With no barrier to entry, working families can trust their children will be supervised in a safe and enriching environment from Monday through Thursday between the hours of 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
At Memphis Rox, climbing is just an access point to mentorship. In our afterschool program, youth receive assistance with homework and a nutritious meal at no cost every day. They’ll bond with other youth from diverse backgrounds, participate in activities like gardening and art making, and learn valuable life skills such as cooperation and trust through the sport of rock climbing. Our goal isn’t just to provide a safe environment, but to create an experience that bolsters their performance at school while encouraging personal growth.
Rox employs experienced professionals to oversee a curriculum that supports youth development. Our programming is rooted in three pillars: recreation, education and emotional well-being. All staff undergo extensive background checks and training to ensure youth receive quality mentorship that helps them to flourish.
“This program is perfect timing for my daughter to attend as she transitions into womanhood. She is surrounded by her peers and caring adults that provide support and encouragement.”
