Volunteer

Our Program

Memphis Rox offers a variety of service initiatives every month. Volunteership allows our members to build lasting relationships, empowering one another while giving back to the community we call home. For those who choose not to access our gym through monetary payment, five volunteer hours per month equates to a four-week membership.
Give back and climb on!

    Volunteer Options

    Juice Almighty

When Memphis Rox closed to climbing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Juice Almighty began to distribute no-cost lunches to the community.

Come help us hand out meals Monday – Friday from
    10 AM – 1 PM!

    Neighborhood
    Clean-Ups

Join us as we partner with other nonprofit organizations
to assist our neighbors in keeping the streets of Soulsville free of debris.

    Educational Food Garden

This program introduces youth to a farm-to-table approach of sustainable living through growing and harvesting healthy produce to promote nutritional eating habits. Area youth and community members can assist with the construction and routine maintenance of the garden.

    Arts & Crafts

Through up-cycling retired climbing ropes, we can demonstrate the multi-use potential of everyday items. Through our arts & crafts events, youth and adults of all ages make art pieces for the One Family Memphis campus as well as crafts to be sold in our gear shop.
Activities include making dog leashes and toys and paracord jewelry.

    The Community Closet

The Soulsville Community Closet is open every Tuesday from 10 AM – 1 PM. Help us restock the store during the week and bag groceries for our neighbors during operating hours!

    Pressure Washing

With repeated climbing, our holds fill with chalk.

Lend a hand to help us wash and keep them looking as good as new.
